Volunteer-Driven Nonprofit · Nashville, TN
Interfaith Dental is a volunteer-driven nonprofit creating a healthier community by providing life-changing oral health care for those experiencing barriers to access.
A healing ministry — trusted by Nashville families and volunteers since 2001
What We Provide
Cleanings, exams, X-rays, and preventative care to keep your smile healthy. We focus on education so you can maintain your oral health between visits.
Fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions to restore function and relieve pain. No one should suffer because they can't afford care.
Because a confident smile changes everything — from job interviews to daily life. We help restore not just teeth, but dignity and self-esteem.
Why Interfaith Dental
Hundreds of dental professionals donate their time because they believe everyone deserves a healthy smile, regardless of income.
We serve uninsured, low-income, and working individuals who face barriers to dental care — on a sliding-fee scale that puts people first.
Founded by uniting different faith communities around a single cause: that oral health is essential to overall well-being and dignity.
We don't just fix teeth — we transform lives. Patients leave with restored confidence, improved health, and the ability to smile without shame.
We emphasize preventative care and education so patients can sustain their oral health long after they leave our clinic.
Serving the Nashville community from Hill Avenue — your neighbors caring for your neighbors, right here in Music City.
Our Story
Interfaith Dental was born from a simple, powerful idea: that faith communities across Nashville could unite to solve one of the most overlooked health crises affecting working families — the inability to access dental care.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Rhonda Switzer-Nadasdi and a dedicated team including Dr. Laima Gylyte and Dr. Bilal Saib, Interfaith Dental has grown into a life-changing resource. Our mission is to restore, protect, and improve the oral health of uninsured, low-income, working people and seniors in Middle Tennessee.
Every day, volunteer dentists, hygienists, and assistants donate their skills. Every day, a patient walks out with more than repaired teeth — they walk out with hope. That's the power of a healthy smile.
"Every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve and sustain a healthy smile."
